There are quartz watches, and there are watches that breathe. The Modena is the latter — a Japanese self-winding movement that draws its life from the swing of your own arm. Beneath a sapphire crystal, a silver sunburst dial radiates from twelve to six like spokes of light. Around it: an octagonal Italian-finished case in brushed and polished 316L. A rotor swings on a jewel bearing every time you move — winding the mainspring without a battery in sight. Forty hours of reserve. Six ticks a second. The kind of movement that turns time-keeping into a quiet form of company.

A sunburst silver dial rakes light from the centre outward — bright at noon, smoke-grey under tungsten. Applied silver indices, dauphine hands, Nine 11 signet at twelve, date window at three. ‘Automatico' marked discreetly below the hands.

Brushed flats, polished chamfers, integrated taper into a hidden butterfly clasp. 316L steel throughout. Sapphire crystal with AR-coating front and back. The case wears 40 mm but reads larger because of the bezel architecture.

Each Modena is cased in our Italian atelier: the movement seated by hand, timed against a reference, and only then sealed behind a silver caseback. No factory shortcut. No machine-set timing. Just the steady tick of mechanical horology, distilled into a 6 mm silhouette.
